This camp is being hosted by Karate Alberta to help athletes, coaches and officials learn and develop
WKF specific kata skills. This camp is focused on WKF competition kata rules, trends and most
importantly training methods. The kata being featured will not be focused on association variations, it
will be focused on giving kata and drills to dojo participants to be able to understand modern
competitive kata.

All Karate Alberta members are invited and the training will be free Dojo instructors and Officials. For
athletes trying for the 2018-2019 season and wish to compete in Kata this clinic is highly recommended.

INSTRUCTORS:

• Sensei Adam Wackershauser (Head Kata Coach) Will be running the Shotokan kata and fundamentals
• Sensei Ervin Tong will be running the Shito Ryu basics and Annan/Annan Dai
• Sensei Hidemi Uchiage will be running Suparenpai/Paiku
