Dear Karate Alberta Members,
It is once again time to start preparing for our upcoming Casino fundraiser in January of 2023.
The Casino event (once every 15-18 months) is the main fundraiser for the organization for our provincial team. Funds raised from the Casino go to supporting all provincial team activities and attendance at all national championships.
What we are looking for is a member of the Karate Alberta family to lead the organizing of volunteers as our Casino Chairperson. The Casino chair helps solicit volunteers to come and work the event and helps the Casino and Casino adviser ensure the event is run well. No experience is required.

The majority of the work is during the lead up to the event ensuring that we have volunteers, that they have
filled out the proper volunteer paperwork and that AGLC is kept informed.
